Position Overview

The Deal Desk Consultant will provide business process, finance and operations support to Sales in drafting, closing, and restructuring of sales contracts. This is a cross-functional role coordinating with internal business partners (Sales, Success, Product Marketing, Sales Incentives, Accounts Receivable, Sales Productivity, Billing, and Legal) to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the order workflow for complex deals.  The primary responsibility of the position is to support the Sales / Success organization in structuring, analyzing, amending, and recording complex deals.  The ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business and product initiatives and challenges.


Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison with all cross-functional business partners involved in the order process
  • Review financial terms & conditions, pricing and business risks of complex deals
  • Analyze deals to ensure appropriate product and service mix
  • Ensure compliance with published sales policies and business procedures
  • Review and edit orders for errors, discrepancies, or omissions
  • Oversee contract amendments and revisions
  • Evaluate current order processes and offer recommendations for areas of improvement



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred)
  • 1 + years of related experience
  • Experience working with or other CRM tools
  • Expert level order entry experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, Word
